NBC shuts down production on Raines with Jeff Goldblum
Raines, starring Jeff Goldblum, was supposed to be a mid-season replacement series, scheduled to air its 13 episode run on Friday nights starting in March. But NBC has shut down production on the show, cutting back its episode order from the original 13 to 7. The show stars Jeff Goldblum as a cop in L.A. who can see dead people… kind of like Medium, but with credentials
NBC still has plans to air the series in March on Friday nights, but just as a shorter series.

I really, really liked Goldblum, but the show was unwatchable. Too bad. Hopefully he’ll come back with something better.
